Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to evolve specific Pokemon. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's often given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.

Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to increase attribute bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade components also have special visual effects when they are added to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought from karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and received as rewards.
There are different upgrade components, each with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are used for some ascended back items. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their names in the hover display of the item while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an equipment piece will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures, fractions or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses, swashes and swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you see and insert these particular characters as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Glyphs can be improved through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its area on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, might offer dual benefits in the event that certain conditions are met and therefore are worth checking out for.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further using an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves creating an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of acquiring the weapon or character you want. However, it's important to note that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own way and don't require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance even more. For these types of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
